About the role
We are looking for a skilled Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Sheraton Sharm Hotel Resort Villas & Spa in Sharm El Sheikh. In this full-time position you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the service team during busy periods.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes, presentation and quality standards.
- Regulate temperatures of ovens, broilers, grills and roasters and ensure proper food safety procedures.
- Thaw frozen items in refrigeration, portion, arrange and garnish dishes, and maintain food logs.
- Communicate menu specials, out-of-stock items and excess food usage to the Chef and service staff.
- Assist with hiring, training, scheduling and coaching junior kitchen staff.
- Follow all company, health, safety and security policies and report any hazards.
Required profile
- Technical, trade or vocational school degree in culinary arts or related field.
- Minimum three years of experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a hotel or resort kitchen.
- Ability to work standing for long periods and lift up to 25 lb without assistance.
- Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
