About the role
We are seeking a Chief Accountant for a full-time, on‑site position in Cairo, Egypt. The role will lead financial reporting, budgeting and internal controls while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger activities and supervise a team of accountants.
- Manage tax processes, coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP.
- Lead cash flow management, treasury oversight and budgeting initiatives.
Required profile
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3–4 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS or GAAP and experience in the travel and tourism B2B sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or CMA is a plus.
