Costing Section Head – Manufacturing

About the role

The Costing Section Head will lead product costing activities for our manufacturing site in Al Obour City, ensuring accurate cost calculation, inventory valuation, and profitability analysis. Reporting to the Head of Finance – Technical Operations, you will provide cost insights that support pricing, budgeting, and strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead standard and actual costing processes and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) and routing.
• Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances and monitor inventory valuation and COGS.
• Support pricing decisions, margin analysis, and budgeting/forecasting for manufacturing costs.
• Partner with production teams to drive cost‑efficiency initiatives and operational improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 8 years of costing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and production processes.
• High attention to detail and strong business partnering skills.

Required skills

• SAP CO module (preferred ERP system).
• Proficiency in ERP systems for cost management.
