Commercial Consultant – FMCG (6‑Month Project)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Consultant to lead a 6‑month transformation project for a leading FMCG organization. You will evaluate current commercial operations, uncover growth opportunities, and design strategies that boost sales performance and market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Assess existing commercial strategy, sales processes, and market performance.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve sales effectiveness and commercial operations.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activities to support strategic decisions.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross‑functional teams to drive initiatives.
• Create performance metrics and dashboards to monitor commercial KPIs.
• Recommend process improvements to optimise sales productivity and profitability.
• Present findings, recommendations, and progress updates to senior management.
• Support change‑management activities related to commercial transformation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce or related field (MBA preferred).
• 10+ years of experience in commercial, sales or business development within FMCG.
• Previous consulting or project‑based experience.
• Proven track record in developing and implementing commercial strategies.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical thinking, problem‑solving and ability to influence change.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
