Corporate Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team and support the company’s commercial activities. The role involves preparing legal documents, managing regulatory compliance, and coordinating with governmental authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare legal documents for trial or court proceedings.
• Design and oversee company policies on legal matters.
• Negotiate deals and represent the company in contractual negotiations.
• Advise management on regulatory and compliance issues.
• Draft, administer, and archive all contracts, powers of attorney, and authorizations.
• Coordinate notarization and maintain statutory records.
• Manage relationships with governmental entities, including licensing applications and follow‑up.
• Oversee litigation files, track hearings, deadlines, and maintain litigation records.
• Scan, digitize, and archive legal documents, ensuring registers are up to date.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Background in Fast‑Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) preferred.
