Corporate Lawyer

About the role

The Corporate Lawyer will support SMSUP in various legal matters, including contract drafting in English and Arabic, handling legal memos, and managing Egyptian labor issues. This position also offers exposure to Saudi law.

Key responsibilities

• Draft contracts and legal documents in both English and Arabic, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
• Prepare memos and legal correspondence as directed by the Legal Manager.
• Assist in internal investigations and manage labor dispute resolutions.
• Provide guidance on Egyptian labor issues and develop knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulations.
• Maintain a database of active contracts and coordinate legal disputes with external counsel.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law, preferably English or French division.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in a legal role with focus on contract drafting and legal research.
• Strong understanding of Egyptian and Saudi law, including labor, civil, and commercial law.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
• High ethical standards and integrity.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong online research and data‑management abilities.
