Cost Accountant with SAP Expertise

About the role

The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analysing overheads, material price variances and driving cost‑saving initiatives across the factory and head office. The role works closely with procurement, IBD and production teams to improve efficiency and support new product development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, analyse and share monthly insights on variable and fixed overheads.
• Deep‑dive into indirect overheads and collaborate with departments to implement saving initiatives.
• Analyse material price variance each month and report findings.
• Work with the procurement team to address adverse variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify procurement opportunities and drive cost‑reduction projects.
• Benchmark product routing and BOM to uncover efficiency gains.
• Partner with the IBD team on various saving projects.
• Identify gross cost (GC) improvement opportunities.
• Execute month‑end accounting and reporting for the factory and head office.
• Support NPD costing and track related expenses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
• CMA certification is a plus.
• 2‑5 years of relevant experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP for cost accounting.
• Strong data‑analytics capabilities.
