Cutting & Preparation Maintenance Section Head

About the role

Yazaki is seeking a Cutting & Preparation Maintenance Section Head to lead the maintenance function at its Fayoum plant. The role is responsible for ensuring reliable operation of cutting and preparation equipment, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance budget, monitor service indicators and report performance.
• Organize and improve maintenance of machinery and equipment, including corrective, preventive and predictive activities.
• Negotiate resources with the technical manager and oversee subcontractors for preventive and technical support.
• Develop, upgrade and validate maintenance procedures, processes and new equipment.
• Identify cost‑optimization opportunities and engage new suppliers for maintenance services.
• Plan and deliver training for the maintenance team and evaluate their performance.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety regulations and ISO 9000/14000 standards.

Required profile

• BSc in Engineering.
• 5–7 years of experience in maintenance within the automotive or related industrial sector.
• Proven leadership and organizational abilities.
• Strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Budget management for maintenance operations.
• Implementation of preventive, predictive and TPM maintenance programs.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000, ISO 14000 compliance.
• Experience with equipment qualification and process parameter optimization.
