Delivery Support - Instashop

About the role

instashop, the online local marketplace in the UAE and Egypt, is hiring a Delivery Support in El Katameya. You will supervise and coordinate delivery operations so that service is timely and efficient, manage a team of drivers, oversee daily delivery activities and implement strategies that improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily delivery operations, assigning tasks and routes to drivers
• Conduct rider interviews and manage the onboarding process, then train new hires on the ground to align them with InstaShop's standards
• Monitor delivery performance, address delays and resolve on-ground issues to ensure timely service
• Support and guide drivers, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company policies
• Hold regular performance evaluations and training sessions to improve team skills and efficiency
• Communicate with customers and handle delivery-related concerns and feedback
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, incidents and vehicle usage
• Ensure assets are delivered in a timely fashion to 3PL vendors and their riders

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in delivery operations or team supervision

Required skills

• Strong understanding of route planning, delivery processes and safety regulations
• Proficiency in delivery management software and GPS tracking systems
