Development Team Leader

About the role

Elsewedy Electric is seeking an experienced Development Team Leader to head its Development Department in New Cairo. You will drive urban planning, infrastructure and environmental solutions projects, ensuring high‑quality delivery and compliance with master‑plan guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and manage a multidisciplinary development team, assigning tasks, setting priorities and monitoring performance.
• Oversee review and approval of investor drawings, ensuring alignment with project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate IDA environmental assessment approvals and act as liaison with authorities and stakeholders.
• Direct master‑plan execution, develop design briefs, evaluate consultant proposals and supervise technical work.
• Provide technical leadership to resolve complex design challenges and report progress, risks and team performance to the Development Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Urban Planning.
• 5‑8 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong coordination, communication and problem‑solving skills with multiple stakeholders.
