Direct Procurement Operations Specialist

About the role

The Direct Procurement Operations Specialist ensures material availability, accurate system execution, and cost efficiency across the supply chain. You will act as the operational bridge between suppliers and internal teams, managing inbound logistics, regulatory approvals, and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound shipments, monitor delivery schedules and manage import clearance activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records for inventory, purchase orders, pricing and supplier data.
• Execute procurement transactions and master‑data updates in Oracle ERP, ensuring data integrity.
• Manage Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs) and drive corrective actions with suppliers.
• Build strong supplier relationships, monitor KPIs (OTIF, quality, responsiveness) and resolve operational risks.
• Lead procurement‑related projects, analyze supplier performance data and support continuous vendor development.
• Prepare regular reports on procurement performance, cost variances and supply risks.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval matrices and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of direct procurement experience in FMCG, food manufacturing or related industries.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle.
• Experience sourcing raw materials and packaging for food/FMCG production.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, supply‑chain operations and vendor management.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills
