Doctor Fees Accountant

About the role
The Doctor Fees Accountant is responsible for calculating and processing physicians' fee entitlements while ensuring compliance with Egyptian tax regulations. This role supports the finance team by preparing accurate statements, journal entries, and periodic reports related to medical fee transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Calculate physicians’ fee entitlements and ensure accurate tax deductions according to Egyptian tax law.
- Prepare and send confirmations and account statements to physicians.
- Create accrual and payment journal entries for physicians’ fees.
- Hold periodic meetings with supervisors to monitor workflow progress.
- Prepare periodic and special reports on the unit’s workflow and achievements for the department head.
- Appoint a deputy or acting representative during absences when required.
- Perform any other tasks within the scope of specialization as assigned by the department head.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce or an equivalent field.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
