About the role

Plan International is seeking a reliable Driver to provide safe and timely transportation services for staff, visitors, and project supplies in Alexandria. The role combines vehicle operation, routine maintenance oversight, and basic administrative support to ensure smooth logistics for the organisation’s humanitarian programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and compliant transportation for staff, visitors and airport transfers.
• Collect, deliver and distribute project supplies, mail, documents and official correspondence between offices and external partners.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, monitor maintenance schedules and coordinate servicing and repairs.
• Report vehicle incidents, support annual vehicle inspections and keep vehicles clean and properly equipped.
• Handle basic administrative tasks such as government approvals, licence renewals and documentation for finance‑related payments.
• Manage and track postal services and document transfers across program areas, field offices and the Country Office.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
• Experience in operating and maintaining vehicles in a professional setting.
• Ability to perform basic administrative duties and handle documentation accurately.
• Good knowledge of local traffic regulations and safety standards.
