Early Years Teacher – Nursery (Full‑time, Heliopolis)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join our nursery in Heliopolis. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will plan and deliver engaging, age‑appropriate lessons that support the holistic development of young children.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement EYFS‑aligned lesson plans that promote learning through play, storytelling, art and appropriate technology.
• Create a nurturing, safe classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
• Prepare, deliver and assess a variety of activities, documenting each child's progress.
• Maintain open, regular communication with parents and caregivers about children’s development.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of child development principles and the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication, active listening and interpersonal skills.
• Creative approach to teaching, using storytelling, art, play‑based learning and technology.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy classroom.
• Relevant teaching certification in early childhood education; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior experience in an early years setting is highly desirable.
• Passionate, nurturing and patient attitude toward young learners.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
