Electrical Operation and Maintenance Engineer

About the role

TAQA Arabia is seeking an Electrical Operation and Maintenance Engineer to ensure reliable performance of its power network. The role involves monitoring, troubleshooting and maintaining electrical assets to keep the system running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the electrical network, including transformers, cables and dispensers.
• Identify, isolate and repair faults to minimise downtime.
• Monitor network voltage, loads and performance indicators.
• Develop and follow preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and tools.
• Coordinate with other departments to verify equipment performance and maintenance outcomes.
• Provide technical advice and support for operational decisions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Power, Renewable Energy or a related field.
• Entry‑level experience (approximately 1 month) or willingness to learn on the job.
• Ability to work under pressure at various company sites.
• Strong communication skills.

Required skills

• Technical reporting.

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
