Electromechanical Engineering Intern – Equipment Data Management

About the role

Lesaffre Egypt for Yeast Industries, a joint-stock company producing baking yeasts and yeast extracts, is offering a 10-12 week Electromechanical Engineering Internship in Equipment Data Management, starting July 2026. The intern supports the maintenance and engineering team in keeping equipment records accurate and complete.

Key responsibilities

• Update and validate equipment master data with the maintenance and engineering team.
• Collect and complete missing equipment information, such as power ratings (kW), flow rates, pressure data, equipment sizes and serial numbers.
• Review equipment datasheets and technical documentation.
• Verify equipment information in SAP and other internal systems.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of equipment records.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate the collected data.

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th year student in Mechatronics, Electromechanical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to read equipment datasheets and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Basic knowledge of industrial equipment (motors, pumps, compressors, valves).

Required skills

• Familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Good Microsoft Excel skills.
