Electronics Team Leader – Lead Design & Development

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Electronics Team Leader to head our electronics engineering group. The role involves overseeing the full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production, while ensuring high quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise a team of Electronics Engineers and Technicians.
• Design and review electronic circuits, schematics and PCB layouts.
• Drive hardware development from prototype through to mass production.
• Review bills of materials, select components and manage PCB manufacturing packages.
• Ensure designs meet quality, safety, EMC/EMI, reliability and manufacturability standards.
• Conduct hardware testing, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Coordinate with R&D, Mechanical, Embedded Software, Production, Procurement and Quality teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, revision control and engineering standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of hands‑on electronics hardware design and development.
• 2+ years in a senior or team‑leadership role.

Required skills

• Strong experience with analog and digital electronics, schematic design and PCB layout.
• Proficiency in Altium Designer, KiCad, EasyEDA or equivalent EDA tools.
• Hands‑on PCB manufacturing and assembly knowledge.
• Hardware debugging and troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies and signal generators.
• Understanding of EMC/EMI, signal integrity, grounding, thermal management and electrical protection.
• Embedded systems or microcontroller experience is a plus.
