Factory Operations Manager – Steel Industry

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Factory Operations Manager to lead the steel production plant in Saudi Arabia. The role involves overseeing daily manufacturing activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while driving continuous improvement across the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily factory operations and maintain smooth production workflow.
• Supervise maintenance, production, and operational teams, including supervisors and department heads.
• Monitor machinery performance and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Achieve production targets, quality standards, and operational KPIs.
• Develop and implement improvement, optimization, and automation strategies.
• Oversee production orders, operational reporting, and process efficiency analysis.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional departments to enhance overall plant performance.
• Utilize SAP ERP for planning, reporting, and resource management.
• Lead, motivate, and maintain strong operational discipline within large teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in industrial manufacturing operations.
• At least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Proven experience in the steel industry.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
