Finance Lecturer for AI Training (Remote, Freelance)

About the role

We are seeking experienced finance lecturers and economists to help shape the way AI systems understand financial and economic reasoning. Your expertise will directly influence AI explanations of valuation, risk, market behavior, and more, improving the trustworthiness of AI in a critical domain.

Key responsibilities

• Review and evaluate finance‑related questions, answers, and explanations used in AI training datasets.
• Assess the accuracy and clarity of concepts such as corporate valuation, risk modeling, and market behavior.
• Identify common misconceptions and logical gaps in AI‑generated financial reasoning.
• Provide structured, actionable feedback to improve the quality and reliability of AI outputs.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience teaching finance or economics at the post‑secondary level.
• Strong command of corporate finance, financial markets, or financial economics.
• Ability to evaluate written financial reasoning with precision and clarity.
• Self‑motivated and reliable when working independently.
• Graduate degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (nice to have).
• Industry or applied finance experience (investment banking, asset management, consulting, etc.) (nice to have).
• Familiarity with AI systems, model evaluation, or data annotation workflows (nice to have).
