French Software Translator – Healthcare IT

About the role

We are looking for a French Translator (Software) to join our healthcare IT team. The role is full‑time and based on‑site in Nasr City, Egypt, focusing on localising our Rx‑Care applications and related documentation for French‑speaking users.

Key responsibilities

• Translate software interfaces, user guides, technical documents and marketing materials from English and/or Arabic into French.
• Collaborate with product, development and implementation teams to integrate translations into the Rx‑Care suite.
• Review and update existing translations, maintain terminology databases and ensure consistency with brand voice.
• Validate localized content within the software and support quality‑assurance testing for multilingual releases.
• Provide occasional interpreting support during meetings, demos or training sessions with French‑speaking clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Linguistics, French Language or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in French translation with solid knowledge of healthcare and IT terminology.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple translation tasks under deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with computer‑assisted translation (CAT) tools.
• Familiarity with translation management systems.
• Understanding of ICD‑10 or medical coding concepts.
• Background in software localisation, UI/UX translation, preferably in healthcare IT.
