Front of House Representative

About the role

The school is seeking a Front of House Representative to serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, visitors and staff. You will create a welcoming atmosphere while providing essential administrative support to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and direct students, parents, and visitors, answering inquiries and routing them to the appropriate department.
• Manage front‑desk communications, including phone calls, emails and general correspondence.
• Perform clerical duties such as data entry, filing, photocopying, report generation, database management and appointment scheduling.
• Assist students with basic tasks, support teachers with classroom supervision and provide first‑aid or general health assistance when needed.
• Liaise with staff, parents and external organisations (e.g., government agencies, media) to ensure smooth school operations.

Required profile

• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.
• Confidence when interacting with parents, students and senior management.
• Strong time‑management, attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, good sense of humour and able to work under pressure.
• Team‑player who can act as an ambassador for the school.

Required skills

• Proficiency in data entry and basic office software.
• Experience with filing, photocopying, report generation and database management.
• Ability to schedule appointments and manage calendars.
