General Accountant – Financial Reporting & Tax

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented General Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves managing core accounting and financial activities, supporting business planning, and ensuring accurate financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports
• Ensure tax compliance and regulatory reporting
• Prepare VAT returns and related documentation
• Support budget planning and financial forecasting
• Manage and monitor cash flow
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision‑making
• Assist in pricing analysis and cost evaluation
• Plan business budgets and evaluate ROI
• Maintain accurate accounting records and support monthly closing activities

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as a General Accountant or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, VAT, tax compliance, and budgeting
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently

• Proficiency with accounting software
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
