Geocycle Supply Chain Specialist

About the role

The Geocycle Supply Chain Specialist will implement procurement strategies for alternative fuels, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal cost. You will work closely with suppliers, internal requesters, and the logistics team to support Holcim’s sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up on Alternative Fuels (AF) procurement activities in line with approved sourcing strategies and company policies.
• Schedule AF deliveries and allocate suppliers through SAP, monitoring daily deliveries to meet quantity and timing targets.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders, track supplier performance, and analyze procurement reports.
• Coordinate monthly closing activities with suppliers to ensure accurate reconciliation and reporting.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to enhance diversity and cost‑effectiveness.
• Manage the invoicing process to guarantee timely verification and payment of supplier invoices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5–8 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles, preferably within the construction or building materials sector.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using SAP for procurement and supplier management.
