GL Supervisor – General Ledger Management

About the role

Arab Otsuka Nutraceuticals is seeking an experienced GL Supervisor to lead General Ledger activities within its manufacturing environment. The role ensures accurate accounting, timely month‑end closing, reconciliations and financial reporting for the Otsuka Robeki Factory.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and execute all General Ledger processes, including journal entries, accruals, pre‑payments, amortization and closing adjustments.
• Prepare, review and analyse account reconciliations, monthly financial and management reports, and bank reconciliations.
• Monitor manufacturing and operational expenses, ensuring proper accounting treatment and supporting cost‑control initiatives.
• Support internal and external audits, providing required documentation and ensuring compliance with company policies, IFRS and internal controls.
• Lead, coach and develop the GL team, driving process improvement and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 4–7 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in GL supervisory or senior accounting roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls and audit principles.
• Excellent analytical, leadership and communication skills, with very good English.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP.
• Advanced Excel skills.
