Head of Fixed Assets

About the role

The Head of Fixed Assets leads the Fixed Assets department within the General Administration division, ensuring accurate tracking, control and reporting of the organisation's capital assets. This senior position works closely with finance, procurement and operational teams to maintain compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Set annual departmental goals and develop policies and procedures for Fixed Assets management.
• Oversee the team handling purchase orders, asset creation, issuance and system updates.
• Monitor and record asset movements, disposals and maintain the Asset Management System.
• Conduct yearly physical counts in collaboration with asset owners.
• Prepare contracts related to Fixed Assets and manage vendor relationships.
• Establish and enforce the Fixed Asset Control Policy in line with bank standards.
• Lead reforms to improve existing asset management processes.
• Provide administrative oversight, including personnel management and departmental administration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university.
• Minimum 12 + years of relevant experience in asset management or a related field.
• Fluency in Arabic and English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Strong organizational and change‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
