Head of NEO BIZ – Digital Banking for SMEs (Egypt)

About the role

The Head of NEO BIZ will lead Mashreq’s digital transformation for the SME segment in Egypt. Reporting to the Head of Business Banking Egypt, you will shape strategy, build innovative digital banking propositions and drive customer acquisition, revenue and profitability for the NEO BIZ segment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the NEO BIZ strategy and roadmap for Egypt.
• Develop customer‑centric digital banking products and end‑to‑end journeys that deliver superior experience.
• Achieve annual targets for client acquisition, revenue and profitability.
• Lead and mentor a cross‑functional team, coordinating with product, technology, risk and commercial partners.
• Act as Product Owner for the NEO BIZ squad, overseeing product development, harmonisation and lifecycle management.
• Identify industry, consumer and technology trends and translate them into innovative digital propositions.
• Build and manage partnerships with strategic partners and value‑added service providers.
• Oversee operational planning, budgeting and performance reporting for the segment.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in digital banking or financial services, preferably within SME or retail banking.
• Track record of delivering profitable growth and meeting financial targets.
• Strong understanding of digital product ownership and end‑to‑end product lifecycle.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, regulators and external partners.
• Excellent strategic thinking with a focus on market trends and customer needs.
