Head of Retail Data Management & Analytics

About the role

The Head of Retail Data Management & Analytics leads the end‑to‑end data, reporting and analytics function for Retail Banking. You will ensure accurate, consistent and timely insights that support performance monitoring, strategic planning and decision‑making across all retail segments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and govern the Retail MIS and performance reporting framework.
• Standardise reporting structures for assets, liabilities, cards and digital channels.
• Establish data‑governance and reconciliation processes between reports and source systems.
• Maintain a central KPI dictionary and reporting documentation repository.
• Provide analysis to explain performance trends, variances and key business drivers.
• Drive reporting efficiency through automation and advanced data solutions.
• Oversee dashboard development using Microsoft Power BI and MicroStrategy.
• Promote scalable data models and modern reporting architecture.
• Support implementation of Microsoft data‑strategy solutions, including automation and advanced reporting frameworks.
• Lead and develop the Data Management & Analytics team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, data analytics or a related field.
• 9‑12 years of progressive experience in Retail Banking MIS, data management, analytics or business planning.
• Proven ability to align data insights with business strategy and financial performance.
• Strong leadership experience managing data, reporting or analytics teams.
• Demonstrated capability to influence senior stakeholders and deliver high‑quality outputs under tight deadlines.
