Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the preparation, analysis and reporting of the company’s financial performance. Reporting to senior management, this role ensures accurate financial statements, robust budgeting processes and effective cost‑control measures across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyze financial statements and management reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Prepare and publish financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Develop, monitor and update budgets and financial forecasts, analysing variances and recommending corrective actions.
• Lead cost‑control initiatives to optimise production‑related expenses.
• Oversee accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance and payroll processing.
• Conduct ad‑hoc research and financial analysis as required by senior leadership.

Required profile

• 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
• Proven ability to manage complex budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of improving cost efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
