About the role
SGS, a global testing, inspection and certification company, is hiring a Health & Safety Supervisor in Maadi, Egypt. The position requires an engineering or science background and involves supervising health, safety and environmental (HSE) work at sites.
Key responsibilities
- Perform HSE site audits
- Supervise HSE implementation at site
- Perform site risk assessments
- Perform accident investigations
- Provide HSE training
Required profile
- University graduate (B.Sc. in engineering or science)
- 5 to 10 years of experience
- Certificates in OSHA, NEBOSH or NIOSH
- Good understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (lead auditor preferred)
- Willingness to travel relatively frequently within Egypt
