About the role

SGS, a global testing, inspection and certification company, is hiring a Health & Safety Supervisor in Maadi, Egypt. The position requires an engineering or science background and involves supervising health, safety and environmental (HSE) work at sites.

Key responsibilities

Perform HSE site audits
Supervise HSE implementation at site
Perform site risk assessments
Perform accident investigations
Provide HSE training

Required profile

University graduate (B.Sc. in engineering or science)
5 to 10 years of experience
Certificates in OSHA, NEBOSH or NIOSH
Good understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (lead auditor preferred)
Willingness to travel relatively frequently within Egypt
