About the role
The Heavy Equipments Manager will lead the maintenance and operation of heavy machinery to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and safely.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and implement heavy equipment management plans aligned with project goals.
- Develop and execute preventive and operational maintenance programs.
- Supervise regular maintenance, emergency repairs, and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure availability of spare parts and coordinate with maintenance agencies, workshops, and insurance companies.
- Oversee equipment operation, provide operator training, and enforce safety standards.
- Prepare periodic reports on equipment condition, maintenance costs, and performance, and recommend efficiency improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in construction companies.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team of technicians and operators.
Required skills
- Technical knowledge of various heavy equipment types and their applications.
- Expertise in preventive maintenance and equipment diagnostics.
