Import Operation Specialist

About the role

Arkas Logistics is seeking an Import Operation Specialist to manage end‑to‑end ocean import processes for its US customers. You will act as the main point of contact, ensuring smooth cargo flow from booking to delivery while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and follow up ocean import operations from booking to cargo delivery.
• Respond to customers’ operational needs, issues, and expectations with a customer‑focused approach.
• Maintain active communication and relationships with customers, providing proactive and up‑to‑date operational information.
• Collaborate with Sales and Pricing teams to ensure seamless operational processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in freight forwarding.
• Experience with USA ocean and air import operations.
• Ability to work according to USA working hours and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of shipping line systems and portals.
• Understanding of operational and documentation processes.
