About the role
ABB is seeking an Infrastructure Sales Manager to drive sales strategy for its Electrification Distribution Solution in Egypt. The role reports to the Marketing & Sales Manager and will lead the development and execution of sales plans across power, utilities and smart city sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a sales strategy for the assigned market to increase ABB’s penetration and achieve growth targets.
- Define, plan and lead execution of sales activities to meet quantitative and qualitative targets for products, systems and services.
- Identify performance shortfalls, take remedial actions and monitor results.
- Evaluate new opportunities with existing and potential customers, allocate resources and drive implementation.
- Conduct customer surveys, analyse feedback and act to improve satisfaction.
- Participate in negotiation of key contracts and manage EPC coordination.
- Lead, coach and develop the sales organization, including sales managers and specialists, to achieve targets.
Required profile
- Minimum 10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in infrastructure‑related sectors such as power & utilities, transportation, water & wastewater or smart cities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Proven ability to communicate in English at executive level, including presentations, technical discussions and commercial negotiations.
- Experience with government tenders and procurement processes.
- Strong understanding of industry stakeholders, end‑users and EPCs.
