Insurance Manager

About the role

The Insurance Manager will lead all insurance‑related activities for Alhayat Medical Clinics, ensuring smooth collaboration between clinical, billing and finance teams while maintaining strong relationships with insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee insurance operations, including claims review, denial monitoring and corrective actions.
• Negotiate contracts and reimbursement rates with insurance providers.
• Coordinate with clinical, billing and finance departments to guarantee accurate documentation and coding.
• Prepare regular performance reports on insurance metrics and financial impact.
• Guide staff on insurance policies, procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to strategic decisions that enhance financial sustainability and patient access.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge and practical experience in insurance operations, claims management and payer contracting.
• Solid understanding of finance principles such as budgeting, revenue cycle and financial analysis in a healthcare setting.
• Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia is strongly preferred.
• Proven team‑management abilities, including goal setting, coaching and performance evaluation.
• Excellent customer‑service and communication skills, with a focus on patient satisfaction and stakeholder collaboration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Experience in medical clinics, hospitals or healthcare insurance environments.
