Insurance Sales Manager

About the role

MetLife is seeking an Insurance Sales Manager to lead a dynamic sales team in Cairo. This full‑time hybrid position combines on‑site collaboration with flexible remote work, focusing on driving growth for our insurance portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and mentor a sales team to achieve product targets.
• Develop and execute sales plans, forecasts, and pipeline management.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies aligned with business goals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, advising on suitable insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, and other cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare regular sales reports and business reviews.

Required profile

• Proven track record in insurance sales and meeting/exceeding targets.
• Experience in customer service handling complex needs.
• Solid understanding of finance concepts related to insurance pricing and profitability.
• Demonstrated team‑management abilities, including coaching and performance management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup and proficient with CRM and sales tools.
• Previous experience in the insurance or financial services sector in Egypt or the region is an advantage.
