About the role
The United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN‑Habitat) is seeking a consultant to design and launch a digital investment portal and private‑sector partnership mechanisms that will stimulate local economic growth in Dahab City, Egypt.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse existing resources and investment opportunities in the Dahab governorate.
- Develop a market‑ready digital platform for attracting and managing investments.
- Design partnership frameworks to engage private‑sector actors.
- Collaborate with UN‑Habitat, the Ministry of Local Development and other stakeholders to align the portal with national urban development strategies.
- Prepare documentation, reports and recommendations for the project funded by the Islamic Development Bank.
Required profile
- Proven experience in investment promotion, urban development or digital platform projects.
- Strong understanding of public‑private partnership models.
- Excellent analytical and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
- Ability to work on a 6‑month consultancy basis in Cairo.
