IRD Supervisor

About the role

The IRD Supervisor will lead the front‑of‑house team at Portaluna’s first Morgans Originals hotel in Egypt, ensuring a memorable dining experience that reflects the brand’s vibrant and iconic style. Reporting to senior management, you will be responsible for coaching staff, maintaining service standards, and driving revenue through upselling.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor wait staff, runners and other front‑of‑house personnel, providing training, coaching and performance feedback.
• Deliver a personalized dining experience, addressing guest concerns promptly and ensuring satisfaction.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the specialty menu, including ingredient sourcing, preparation methods and beverage pairings, and guide the team in presenting this information to guests.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to guarantee timely and accurate order delivery.
• Drive upselling of premium dishes, beverages and exclusive items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
• Prepare daily operational reports covering guest feedback, sales data and staff performance for senior management.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising restaurant or hotel dining teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle guest issues with professionalism.
• Passion for delivering high‑quality service in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
