Junior Accountant

About the role

Fodista is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support its finance team. The role focuses on daily accounting entries, payroll processing, and assisting with month‑end and year‑end close activities while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record, review, and maintain daily accounting entries and financial transactions.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations.
• Support monthly and year‑end closing processes.
• Process and finalize monthly payroll, including salaries, allowances, deductions, and overtime.
• Review attendance, leave, and payroll‑related data for accuracy.
• Prepare payroll reports and maintain payroll records.
• Enter, update, and validate financial and payroll data within ERP systems.
• Assist in preparing financial and management reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in accounting and payroll processing.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
