Junior Category Product Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Category Product Manager to own the end‑to‑end management of perishable product categories within our supply chain. You will ensure product availability, quality, and margin targets while minimizing waste and preserving cold‑chain integrity from factories to store shelves.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, onboard and manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, contracts and service level agreements.
• Develop accurate demand forecasts, set reorder points and oversee daily/weekly replenishment.
• Monitor commercial performance, compare spot versus contracted pricing and adjust sourcing strategies.
• Collaborate with merchandising, store operations, quality, marketing and finance on costing, ranging, promotions and category reviews.
• Analyse supplier and range performance (OTIF, quality, pricing, sales, margin, waste) and lead performance discussions to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in category management, procurement or supply chain.
• Strong negotiation abilities and capacity to make fast, data‑driven decisions in a perishable environment.
