Junior Inventory Controller

About the role

The Junior Inventory Controller will support accurate inventory control and reporting for National Electricity Technology Co. in Agouza, Giza. The role involves monitoring stock movements, conducting reconciliations, and collaborating with warehouse, supply chain, and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily inventory transactions and maintain accurate records of quantities, locations, and expiration dates.
• Conduct physical stock counts and reconcile results with system records.
• Identify and report discrepancies, losses, damaged, expired, and slow‑moving items.
• Prepare regular inventory reports and basic analysis on stock levels, variances, and turnover.
• Support stock replenishment activities and monitor inventory levels to minimize shortages and excess stock.
• Assist with monthly inventory closing and reconciliation of inventory‑related GL accounts.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy.
• Review and maintain inventory‑related documents and ensure compliance with control procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Good command of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Excellent communication skills and high integrity.
