Lab Chemist – Quality Control & Equipment Maintenance

About the role

The Lab Chemist will be responsible for measuring and testing laboratory materials, following standard operating procedures for sampling, and ensuring strict infection control and lab safety. The role involves documenting all lab activities, preparing work lists, and delivering results according to schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, test, and document lab materials following SOPs.
• Perform internal quality control procedures and calibrate laboratory equipment.
• Maintain and service lab equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Organize work based on workload and result delivery timelines.
• Prepare work lists and manage sample flow.
• Carry out infection control and lab safety protocols.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of technical laboratory experience.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Strong technical writing skills for procedures, protocols, and reports.
