Lead Auditor

About the role

TÜV SÜD is seeking an experienced Lead Auditor to conduct and manage internal and external audits across a wide range of management system standards. The role combines hands‑on auditing, training delivery, and project leadership to support clients in achieving compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform audits according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301, ISO 50001 (ENMS), ISO 41001, ISO 55001, ISO 31000, ISO 27001, ISO 2001, ISO 10002, ISO 10004 and SMETA.
• Deliver Lead Auditor and Internal Auditor training for the same standards.
• Develop and update training materials and audit documentation.
• Provide value‑added feedback on strengths, weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain in‑house rejection rate below 5% and ensure timely issuance of audit reports and action lists.
• Support lead generation activities and act as Project Manager for major audit and training projects.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of auditing experience (120 months) in management system standards.
• Proven ability to train and mentor new auditors.
• Strong technical writing skills for audit reports and training content.
• Experience managing projects and meeting contractual requirements.
