Lean Intern – NextGen Talent Program 2026

About the role

Lesaffre Egypt for Yeast Industries, a joint-stock company producing baking yeasts and yeast extracts, offers a 10-12 week Lean Internship through its NextGen Talent Program starting July 2026. As a Lean Intern you will support operational excellence initiatives in packaging areas and contribute to projects focused on productivity enhancement, lean implementation and operational performance improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support lean and continuous improvement initiatives and improve the GPS score
• Participate in operational performance enhancement projects
• Assist in productivity and efficiency analysis
• Support data collection and reporting activities
• Collaborate with operations and production teams and sustain OEE productivity
• Take part in improvement workshops and operational follow-ups

Required profile

• 3rd or 4th year university student
• Background in Mechanical, Industrial or Mechatronics Engineering
• Interest in operations and continuous improvement
