Legal & Contract Specialist

About the role

The Legal & Contract Specialist will oversee the full contract lifecycle and ensure legal compliance across the organization. You will act as a bridge between the legal department and business units, providing guidance on contractual matters and supporting risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end contract processes, from drafting and negotiation to execution, amendment, renewal, and termination.
• Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations (e.g., data protection, labor law) and internal policies.
• Maintain and update standardized contract templates, clauses, and playbooks.
• Monitor contractual obligations, milestones, SLAs, penalties, and renewal dates.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and contractual risks; escalate high‑risk clauses with recommendations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing contract documentation and risk assessments.
• Track legal requests, turnaround times, and prioritize workload to maintain service efficiency.
• Coordinate with external counsel and maintain an organized legal repository.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, delivering contractual guidance during negotiations.
• Develop and improve contract management processes, approval workflows, and governance controls.
• Prepare periodic reports on contract status, risks, renewals, disputes, and compliance matters.

Required profile

• 6–8 years of experience in contract management, legal compliance, or related legal functions.
• Law degree (Faculty of Law) – English section preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks such as data protection, labor law, and sector‑specific regulations.
