Legal Counsel

About the role

EVA Pharma is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join its legal department. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal advice, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations while supporting the company’s growth in the pharmaceutical sector.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on commercial, regulatory, contractual and compliance matters.
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts and agreements.
• Support the company’s compliance with applicable laws and internal policies.
• Assist in managing litigation and dispute‑resolution matters.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate legal considerations into business decisions.
• Monitor legal developments relevant to the pharmaceutical industry and advise management.
• Support corporate governance activities and regulatory filings as required.

Required profile

• Law degree (LLB or equivalent); a master’s or certificate in Corporate/Commercial Law is a plus.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Legal Counsel or in a similar role.
• Deep understanding of Egyptian laws and strong knowledge of commercial contracts.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
