About the role

The company, a leading steel fabrication and structural steel provider in the Middle East, is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee transportation, shipping, import/export, and distribution activities for large‑scale steel projects. You will ensure safe and timely movement of raw materials and finished products across local and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.
• Coordinate transportation of oversized steel structures and fabricated components.
• Develop logistics strategies to reduce transportation costs while maintaining service levels.
• Oversee freight forwarding, customs clearance, and export documentation.
• Support project teams to meet site delivery schedules.
• Negotiate contracts with transportation providers and logistics partners.
• Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and delivery performance.
• Lead logistics process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Minimum 15 years of logistics management experience in steel fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, customs clearance, and freight management.
• Excellent leadership and negotiation abilities.
