Logistics Manager

About the role

The Logistics Manager will lead daily logistics operations for Ahmed ElSallab, a leading ceramic tile and sanitary ware retailer in Egypt. Based in Bilbays, this full‑time, on‑site position ensures that inventory, warehouse activities and shipments are efficiently managed to support store and customer fulfillment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee inventory control, warehouse management and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Plan and optimise transportation routes, monitor delivery performance and guarantee timely, intact product delivery.
• Manage relationships with suppliers, carriers and internal teams, tracking logistics KPIs and implementing cost‑efficient solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
• Lead, develop and motivate the logistics team while driving continuous improvement initiatives in supply‑chain processes.

Required profile

• Strong logistics and supply‑chain management background, including inventory, warehouse and transportation planning.
• Experience with logistics coordination tools such as ERP or warehouse management software.
• Proven planning, organising and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Leadership skills to train, motivate and evaluate team members.
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross‑functional teams, suppliers and service providers.
• Ability to analyse data, track performance metrics and balance service quality with cost efficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Previous retail or distribution experience, especially in building‑materials or home‑requirements sectors, is an advantage.
• Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Bilbays and adapt to a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
