Logistics Specialist – Import & Export Operations

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will manage all import and export logistics for ACCBC’s Egypt facility, ensuring the seamless movement of goods, documentation, and payments in line with company policies and Egyptian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Track and coordinate end‑to‑end import and export shipments, including monitoring documentary letters of credit from issuance to settlement.
• Follow up on supplier invoices, verify accuracy against purchase orders, and ensure timely processing.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs brokers to resolve delays or documentation issues.
• Process bank transactions for inbound shipments, including the issuance of Form 4 as required by the Central Bank of Egypt.
• Manage the import of production line and factory spare parts to avoid operational disruptions.
• Control customs clearance invoices, preventing duplicate billing and ensuring correct cost allocation.
• Verify, upload, and maintain all shipping and clearance documents in the DWS electronic system.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and financial transactions.
• Good knowledge of Egyptian customs and banking regulations related to imports and exports.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Proactive communication skills to escalate issues and propose solutions.
