Master Planning Architect

About the role

QP is seeking a Master Planning Architect to shape large‑scale, high‑impact developments from early vision through concept design and planning submissions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate strategic intent into buildable spatial frameworks while maintaining design quality and narrative.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to master‑plan and urban‑design concepts for mixed‑use, hospitality, residential and large‑scale projects.
• Develop site analysis, constraints mapping, planning strategies, phasing concepts and land‑use frameworks.
• Produce high‑quality diagrams, layouts, massing studies, design narratives and presentation decks.
• Coordinate with internal disciplines and external consultants such as engineering, landscape, mobility, cost, planning and clients.
• Support feasibility studies covering density, GFA, unit mix, circulation, access, servicing and infrastructure.
• Ensure proposals comply with local regulations, client objectives and project viability.
• Present design work in client meetings, workshops and design reviews.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred); professional registration is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience in master planning and early‑stage concept design.
• Strong design thinking, able to move between strategy and detail.
• Excellent English communication and presentation skills; additional languages are advantageous.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong capability with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience using SketchUp and/or Rhino.
• Familiarity with GIS and parametric or analytical tools.
• Revit knowledge is beneficial.
