Material Handler – 3rd Shift

About the role

BlueScope is seeking reliable, detail‑oriented individuals to join the team as Material Handlers on the 3rd shift. You will operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other mobile equipment to move raw materials and finished goods safely within the plant, yard, or warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload raw materials and finished goods from pallets, racks, trailers and trucks.
• Transport materials between storage, production areas and designated locations.
• Operate lifting devices such as forklifts and cranes to position items accurately.
• Maintain material inventory records and support housekeeping standards, including 5‑S practices.
• Participate in continuous‑improvement and corrective‑action activities.

• Keen eye for detail and pride in producing quality work.
• Comfortable working in a team‑oriented, safety‑focused environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow continuous‑improvement initiatives.
